About Us

Stony Hill Mental Health and Wellness is a small mental health private practice with a strong commitment to individualized care.  We pride ourselves on being available and accessible, without the hassles associated with larger run practices.  We take our own calls, and often can see new clients within one week.  Our philosophy is to treat the whole person by viewing their challenges on an individual as well as broader level, taking into account relationships and family history, environmental factors, spiritual beliefs, and biological issues that may be affecting the current situation and struggles.  This is our "holistic" approach.  We do very little "advertising", and most of our new clients come to us by way of referral from our valued colleagues, as well as from past clients.

We are also proud to be a provider of professional education for colleagues in the helping fields.  Continuing education seminars are available on a regular basis, with excellent and entertaining trainings located at a convenient site near major interstates.  In addition, workshops and group classes are available for the general community on a variety of issues related to wellness, relationships, and other concerns affecting daily functioning.
